Technical data
The TR-TG-2B was made by TRT in 1976 under a SEFT specifications.
It was used by French Special Forces of which the 13ième RDP.
It replaced the Lagier TR-TG-2A model.
This set is made of:
- EM-96, 96A & 96B transmitter
- RR-123B receiver
- AA-51B battery unit
- DQ21B burst coder/decoder
It is packaged in three pouches.
This unit differs from the well know one:
all the connections are on the front.
the transmitter Xtal is protected by a screw cap.
it is powered by nine 1.5V AAA type batteries.
Previously in Edmond Codechevre (F8RF) collection, an old SK friend.
