Telefunken P100/3

Technical data

The Tefunken P100/3 is a 1.4Mhz to 30Mhz HF Ground Wave Direction Finder made in the 60's.

This model has been modified by the French Ministry of Defense to meet specific needs including being able to be powered by a 24V accumulator and have a rotating antenna.
The original model is powered by batteries and it is the complete equipment that rotates to find the powered from 24V batteries and having only the antenna moving rather the whole equipement.
To do this, it integrates a mutator in the battery compartment which supplies the required voltages (+ 76V, + 1.4V, -1.5v, -3V) from a voltage source of 24V.
It also includes lighting for the directional sight.

This equipment was restarted without any problem after replacing the capacitors of the mutator.

Nota: A loop antenna has been made in the absence of the original.
