I started this project with the idea of playing with my giroscopes which all needed 115V and 26V 400Hz supply.
I got such commercial power supplies but only with one phase.
The three phases are created from a crystal controlled oscillator. A divider produced three 120° signals with are added.
My first try uses three class A power amplifiers each driving a 100V ligne transformer.
It worked but draws too much power.
The next try uses three class D amplifier instead of the previous class A ones. This was perfect.
The power is supplied by two 19V Dell PSU that fits very well inside the cabinet.
Ouput can be set to 26AC or 115AC and switched to delta or star configuration.
